Q: The video calls out "Honey finish". So the pictures and video are "not unfinished"? Is "unfinished" usable as it is? If so, can I do "honey finish" myself--how? Thanks! -Monika

A: This product was originally built and photographed when we were offering an outdoor finish on the outdoor products. We have since stopped offering a finish on our outdoor products, so now it would only come unfinished. If you purchase it, you're welcome to stain yourself or use as is. Cedar is a great option for outdoor furniture even unfinished as it is naturally resistant to rot and bugs. it's a good bench, sturdy, well made and does the job - which is it allows one to sit on it without breaking. It does look sharp with the hand peeled logs, we go ours unfinished, didn't really care for the cedar tone color.
It took a little bit longer than anticipated to receive the frames, but it was well worth the wait. I love the unique look of the of the bedframes. They fit in well at my cabin in the woods.
