Your Cedar Lake Log Wall Sconce is hand crafted from aged Northern White Cedar. The aged cedar will feature extra rustic character from beetle tracks, burls, gnarls and cats eyes. Each log is carefully hand peeled to ensure as much of the rustic character is left intact in the logs. This hand peeling process can also leave bits of inner bark on the logs which will add more color and rustic charm.
The sconce features a plug in cord but if you desire to direct wire into the wall, you can simply cut and strip the cord accordingly and direct wire it. The lamp will be built to be surface mounted to the wall. We also offer you your rustic sconce unfinished for the natural log look or in one of our three finishes. Our finish is offered in clear finish, honey pine finish, or vintage whiskey finish. All three finishes will protect the wood from dirt and stains, the clear finish will leave the logs looking natural and the honey finish will darken the logs, creating an aged appearance, and the vintage whiskey will provide an even darker aged look.
