Rustic White Pine Glacier Country Log Rocking Chair
The Glacier Country Log Rocking Chair is made from lodgepole pines that have been harvested from dead standing trees. The logs are then carefully hand peeled using draw knives to peel the outer bark off of the logs. This peeling process means all of the cambium (inner bark) is left on the logs. The Glacier Country Collection is then finished with an eight step spraying process that applies stain and lacquer. The hand drawknife peeling process also leave the natural character of the logs intact, assuring that each piece of the Glacier Country Collection will be uniquely rustic and original.
