This industrial rustic dining table features a hand forged metal base in a farmhouse design. The wooden table top is reclaimed 100 to 150 year old salvaged barn wood. The combination is one unique rustic dining table. Most industrial designs are very utilitarian, linear and to be honest "cold". Our industrial rustic dining table has the masculine and linear features of industrial design, but the design is softer with the addition of curved accents and wrapped feet. The inherent weathered character of reclaimed barn wood adds rustic warmth. We say this jokingly, but in all reality this table should be around for several hundred years. The reclaimed barn wood table top can be touched up in seconds with a special tinted wax. New scratches just add more rustic charm, and the wax blends them in so you can�۪t tell one from a hundred years ago from the ones that were just added yesterday. Nothing short of a fire will hurt the base, and if it�۪s a quick fire, it will just need to be repainted.
