Cedar Lake Logger Log Daybed
Cedar Lake Logger Log Daybed
The craftsman starts by sifting through racks of naturally aged Northern White Cedar logs until he finds the ones that he or she thinks is perfect for your log daybed. Once these logs are found they are hand peeled to ensure that all of the character left by nature in the logs is left intact. This rustic character can be found in such forms as beetle tracks, cats eye burls, gnarls and more. The hand peeling removes the outer bark and leaves some of the inner bark, or cambium, on the logs to create a nice contrast.
