The hand peeling process leaves some of the cambium (inner bark) on the logs and also leaves behind any burls, knots, and beetle tracks. Arrived well protected and in good condition. One door was slightly warped and had a small grain separation which had to be glued. Bracket for coat rod had to be relocated and reinstalled as it was in the wrong location making it slope. Overall quality was good.
It took a little bit longer than anticipated to receive the frames, but it was well worth the wait. I love the unique look of the of the bedframes. They fit in well at my cabin in the woods.
