we really like the chairs. But, there are edges where the hickory was shaved down and inserted into another piece that has rough edges that were not varnished as the rest of the chair was. Or there are flakes of wood that are sticking out from the holes, that are not smooth and can get caught on clothes.
It took a little bit longer than anticipated to receive the frames, but it was well worth the wait. I love the unique look of the of the bedframes. They fit in well at my cabin in the woods.
