Custom Made Game Tables by Woodland Creek Furniture. A customer asked us to design a game table for their home. They liked the live edge slab dining tables they saw in our showroom. They did not want a modern base or a rustic base. They asked if we could use a traditional pedestal base, but not the plain bases you see everywhere. We suggested our popular twisted pedestal base and pairing it with an octagon table top made from thick, natural redwood. Some of the edges are natural live edge and some are fabricated by our artisans. We dare you to tell us which is which. Our men are that good. They are able to sculpt the edges and blend into the natural edges. A burgundy felt was selected to compliment the redwood. Cork was inlaid for cocktail glasses or beer mugs.
We might not have combined a traditional base with this style top unless our customer requested it. We are sure thankful they did request it as we feel it is a wonderful combination and eclectic look – not to mention transitional. This custom made game table will look great in just about any decor. We can see it in a ranch in Texas, a mountain home in Aspen or a modern New York apartment.
This custom made game table can be made any size you need for your game room or man cave.
