Hickory is a dense heavy wood that contrasts beautifully with lighter log furniture and blends in nicely with darker barn wood furniture. The hickory logs are left unpeeled to give a rustic, natural look to the nightstand. The top has a natural edge of hickory bark on either side. All the hickory logs used are kiln dried first down to specific moisture content. This drying process is done to ensure the best quality possible. An eco-friendly clear finish is added to the nightstand for extra durability and color depth.
